The JVentures Model Portfolio Intensive

One shoot can give you great photographs.

A portfolio requires something more.


The JVentures Model Portfolio Intensive is a multi-session portfolio development experience designed to create a diverse, intentional collection of professional images that shows your range in front of the camera.


  • For the launch of this program, only 3 Founding Portfolio participants will be selected.

What you get

THIS ISN'T ONE PHOTOSHOOT.


It's a portfolio build.


Over a series of intentionally planned shoots, we'll create different looks, concepts, environments, and styles designed to expand the range of your portfolio.

Rather than walking away with twenty versions of the same look, you'll build a collection that demonstrates how you photograph across different types of work.


Your Portfolio Intensive may include:


EDITORIAL PORTRAIT

Expression. Personality. Movement. Storytelling.

We'll create images with a strong editorial point of view while developing your confidence and presence in front of the camera.


FASHION

Wardrobe-driven imagery with posing, movement, styling, and creative direction designed to showcase your ability to carry a fashion-focused shoot.


BEAUTY

Clean, detailed portraiture focused on face, skin, hair, makeup, expression, and close-up work.


COMMERCIAL + LIFESTYLE

Natural, approachable imagery designed to demonstrate your ability to work within commercial, advertising, personal-brand, and lifestyle environments.


CREATIVE / CONCEPTUAL

This is where we experiment.

Lighting. Styling. Locations. Color. Mood. Movement.

We'll develop a concept specifically to create something visually distinctive for your portfolio.


BOUDOIR — OPTIONAL

For participants interested in adding boudoir to their portfolio, we can create a separate concept centered around confidence, expression, shape, and intentional storytelling.

Participation in boudoir is completely optional.


HEADSHOT + CASTING IMAGES

We'll also make sure you leave with clean, versatile images that can be used for casting profiles, introductions, social profiles, and professional opportunities.

From there, we'll develop your Portfolio Intensive around the images you actually need.

Certain Portfolio Intensive shoots may include collaborations with hairstylists, makeup artists, wardrobe stylists, and other creatives who are also developing their professional portfolios.

That means we're not simply showing up and taking pictures.


We're creating.


Each concept can be intentionally developed around photography, wardrobe, hair, makeup, location, lighting, and the needs of the participating creative team.

And everyone walks away with work they're proud to show.

THE EXCHANGE


Founding Portfolio participants are receiving this experience in exchange for their commitment to the complete program and permission for the resulting work to become part of the JVentures Photography portfolio.

Selected participants will be required to sign a Model Release permitting use photographs and approved media created during the program for portfolio, website, social media, educational, advertising, and marketing purposes.

Participants also agree to appropriately tag and credit JVentures Photography when publishing images from the program.

You'll receive ready-to-use photography credits and suggested social media CTA language with your images to make sharing easy.



The complete experience represents several thousand dollars in professional photography, creative development, and finished imagery.

THE FOUNDING PORTFOLIO PROGRAM


I'm currently rebuilding and expanding several areas of the JVentures Photography portfolio while developing new creative concepts, educational materials, and photography experiences.

Rather than creating disconnected demo shoots, I've decided to build something more useful.


I'm selecting 3 people who want to intentionally build their portfolios alongside me.

You'll get the opportunity to develop a substantial body of professional work.

I'll get the opportunity to create, experiment, develop new concepts, and produce the work that will help shape the next chapter of JVentures Photography.


It's a collaboration—and both sides should walk away with something valuable.
